DeepSeek V3.1 doubled deposit to 22 thousand dollars in 9 trading days

I told earlier that the Alpha Arena benchmark launched, where popular models trade real cryptocurrency for real money. Each was given 10 thousand dollars and released into free navigation.

And here are solid results. Chinese model DeepSeek V3.1 doubled the deposit in cryptocurrency in 9 days. And now it has more than 22 thousand dollars.

Following is Qwen 3 with capital of 19 thousand dollars. There were moments when this model even overtook DeepSeek. In small plus are Claude Sonnet 4.5 and Grok 4. And among outsiders – Gemini 2.5 Pro and GPT-5. Both models have 4 thousand each left. Losses are about 60%.

All models trade with real money. Leverage up to x20 is allowed, stop-loss is mandatory and fixed take-profit for each trade.

Most curious is that the trading style of different models differs significantly. DeepSeek behaves disciplined. Makes few trades, distributing capital competently and not forgetting cushion in free money. Qwen 3 bets on Bitcoin growth with large leverage x20. Elon Musk’s Grok 4 bets on Dogecoin growth, which Musk advertised more than once. Claude Sonnet 4.5 trades very cautiously, quickly fixing profits. And Gemini 2.5 Pro and GPT-5 tried to be clever and catch market reversals. But the market proved smarter so far.

Binance founder Changpeng Zhao already warned that if the winning strategy starts being copied massively, AI could control the market by sharply raising and crashing coin rates.
