Google has announced the launch of Gemini in Android Studio for Business – a new subscription service designed to simplify enterprise application development. The announcement was made at the Google Cloud Next 2025 conference in Las Vegas and aims to strengthen the company’s position in the corporate sector.

According to a recent study by strategic consulting company Stratix, 60% of enterprise devices run on Android, making this operating system the leader in the business segment due to its flexibility and lower cost compared to competitors.

The new business version of Gemini expands the basic AI capabilities already familiar to Android developers, adding enhanced functionality for organizations working with confidential code and workflows. This allows for the implementation of AI-assisted development in a corporate environment without compromising data management and intellectual property protection.

Special attention in the new product is paid to data security. Google has implemented a strict data management policy, guaranteeing the confidentiality of corporate code, developer requests, and AI-generated suggestions. This data is not used to train publicly available models or develop third-party products, and organizations retain full control over their intellectual property.

This move reflects the growing demand for AI integration into the corporate development environment, taking into account requirements for data privacy and security, as well as the ability to customize to the needs of a specific organization.
