Model that creates websites and games on the first try
OpenAI quietly and without much noise began testing a new model codenamed o3 Alpha on the WebArena platform. This is an open platform for comparing artificial intelligence models based on user preferences. On the platform itself, the model is hidden under the name “Anonymous-Chatbot-0717,” but the actual identifier can be seen in the code.
What makes o3 Alpha special? In benchmarks, it ranks 1st among neural networks for code generation and world physics. The model also significantly improved the creation of websites with a quality user interface.
The publication BleepingComputer conducted its own testing and confirmed that o3 Alpha handles even vague requests very well. Users note that it can create clones of popular games like Minecraft, GTA, and Flappy Bird on the first try. It also generates vector graphics of higher quality than other artificial intelligence systems.
It is important to understand that this is not an open solution and not the open-source model the company promised to release. It is also not a new version called o4. Such a model does not yet exist. Most likely, o3 Alpha is an internal test version of the improved o3 model, which may include developments for the future GPT-5 model.

AI chatbots generate content that exacerbates eating disorders
A joint study by Stanford University and the Center for Democracy and Technology showed a disturbing picture. Chatbots with artificial intelligence pose a serious risk to people with eating disorders. Scientists warn that neural networks hand out harmful advice about diets. They suggest ways to hide the disorder and generate "inspiring weight loss content" that worsens the problem.
OpenAGI released the Lux model that overtakes Google and OpenAI
Startup OpenAGI released the Lux model for computer control and claims this is a breakthrough. According to benchmarks, the model overtakes analogues from Google, OpenAI and Anthropic by a whole generation. Moreover, it works faster. About 1 second per step instead of 3 seconds for competitors. And 10 times cheaper in cost per processing 1 token.
