Microsoft removes all limits on Copilot Voice and Think Deeper

Microsoft has announced a significant expansion in the availability of its advanced AI features, making Copilot Voice and Think Deeper technology, powered by OpenAI’s o1 model, completely free for all users. This decision marks an important strategic step in the development of the company’s artificial intelligence platform.

According to information from the Copilot team, the company is actively working on scaling unlimited access to advanced features for the widest possible audience. “We aim to provide unlimited access to advanced features to as many users as possible in the shortest time, starting with today’s launch of Voice and Think Deeper,” representatives of the development team stated.

It’s important to note that despite the removal of restrictions, the team warns about possible delays or interruptions during peak loads, as well as in cases of security issues, abuse, or violations of Copilot’s terms of use.

This update came two years after the initial integration of Copilot into the Bing search engine and just a month after a significant update to the Copilot Pro subscription and the inclusion of AI features in the Microsoft 365 package.

Microsoft continues to offer the premium Copilot Pro subscription for $20 per month, which provides priority access to the latest models during peak loads, early access to experimental AI features, and enhanced capabilities for using Copilot in Microsoft 365 applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

This decision reflects the growing competition in the AI assistant market and Microsoft’s desire to strengthen its position by making advanced technologies more accessible to a wider audience. Removing restrictions on the use of OpenAI’s o1 model and voice features can significantly impact user experience and promote broader adoption of AI technologies in everyday work.
