OpenAI launched Deep Research for business with corporate services integration

OpenAI company presented significant updates for ChatGPT business users, opening new possibilities for corporate integration and use. Deep Research function now interacts with a wide range of corporate tools — GitHub, Google Docs, Gmail, Calendar, Microsoft SharePoint, Outlook, OneDrive, HubSpot, Dropbox and Box. This allows searching information in corporate documents considering access rights and secure data storage.

Any chat can now be connected to popular document storage services, including Google Docs, SharePoint, Dropbox and Box. The company also launched an initial version of its own Model Communication Protocol or MCP directly in chat, with administrators getting the ability to add their MCP for corporate accounts.

One of the most interesting innovations became the recording mode in ChatGPT, which captures, transcribes and summarizes meetings directly in the application. Through the Mac application, users get structured output and full transcription with timestamps — functionality that was previously offered by many separate startups.
