Opera Neon automates web navigation with 3 AI functions

Opera company presented revolutionary Neon browser that goes beyond traditional understanding of web navigation. This is a fundamentally new tool focused on automating complex tasks with artificial intelligence – from form filling to creating full-fledged websites and games.

The architecture of the new browser reflects a paradigm shift in user interaction with the internet. Neon’s sidebar contains 3 key functional buttons: Chat, Do and Make. The first provides a chatbot interface for intelligent search and analysis of viewed pages. The second activates Browser Operator AI technology – an artificial intelligence agent capable of independently filling forms and booking travel directly in the browser.

The Make function looks most interesting, allowing creation of games, websites, code fragments and analytical reports using text queries. The feature of this technology is that processing happens through a virtual machine in the cloud, which ensures continuation of work on tasks even without internet connection.

Currently the browser is available only by waiting list, and in the future Opera plans to introduce a subscription model. Exact cost data is not disclosed yet, leaving open the question of this technology’s accessibility for mass users.
