Tinder launches AI flirting trainer based on OpenAI technologies

Artificial intelligence is entering the most intimate sphere of human relationships. The process of meeting and flirting. Tinder, one of the leaders in the online dating market, has announced a new development called The Game Game.

This system is an immersive communication simulator where the user interacts with a virtual character through a voice interface. The key feature of the development lies in the variety of interaction scenarios. From random encounters in public places to traditional meetings in social spaces. Each virtual interlocutor has a detailed set of characteristics, which ensures realistic communication.

The technological foundation of the solution is based on OpenAI developments, allowing the analysis of speech patterns in real time. The system continuously evaluates the quality of communication and provides instant feedback. For example, it points out unsuccessful jokes or suggests topics to keep the conversation going. Feedback is integrated directly into the communication process, which should provide practical learning.

The company sees the prospects of the technology in 2 directions. The first is the creation of a personalized social skills trainer that adapts to the needs of a specific user. The second, more futuristic – the development of a system. Where artificial assistants, possessing complete information about their owners, will interact with each other for the preliminary selection of potentially compatible pairs. But I think 3rd and 4th options will be used. Namely – the creation of virtual girlfriends and boyfriends. And increasing the number of users through fake accounts. And both directions will stimulate staying in the service as long as possible and paying for it as much as possible.
