Top AI company manager publicly lies about technology safety

I have some frightening revelations for you. Steven Bartlett, well-known entrepreneur and host of the popular podcast “The Diary of a CEO”, shared information that makes one seriously think about the future of artificial intelligence. According to him, one of the top executives of a leading artificial intelligence company is playing a double game in his statements.

Publicly this top manager confidently states “Everything is under control. We have nothing to fear”. However, in private conversations the same person paints a completely different, alarming picture. I quote, “We are expecting something truly terrifying”.

Bartlett himself emphasizes the dramatic contrast between the public position and private fears “What he tells me privately – is completely opposite to public statements”. Such discrepancy between official rhetoric and behind-the-scenes conversations raises serious questions about the real state of affairs in the artificial intelligence industry. Too bad he didn’t say who it was.

Particularly alarming is the fact that even people at the helm of this technological revolution apparently don’t have full confidence in its consequences and cannot guarantee the safety of the systems they are developing.

Listen to such revelations and you won’t want any artificial intelligence.
