US Intelligence demands AI acceleration

US Deputy National Security Advisor Anne Neuberger urged the American intelligence community to accelerate adoption of artificial intelligence tools.

In a Foreign Affairs article, she emphasized military and intelligence leaders must leverage AI advantages while establishing safe implementation standards.

According to Neuberger, delays in AI technology adoption risk US intelligence capabilities falling behind China, Russia, and other powers actively developing these technologies.

She considers TikTok a potentially dangerous tool through which hostile countries can gather information, expressing concern that the platform has become the primary news source for young Americans.

Neuberger emphasizes AI’s advantages in preventing terrorist attacks and cyber threats through rapid analysis of various data types.

She insists the US must become number one in AI adoption, defensive use, and application. Interestingly, future military power indicators might shift from tank and aircraft counts to processor quantities and prompt quality.
