The analytical group Epoch AI assessed the pace of construction of record-power data centers at 1 gigawatt. If Epoch AI’s estimates are correct, the industry has moved to a real conveyor belt, where in 12-24 months a data center with 1 gigawatt of power is assembled. 3-4 times more powerful than the existing largest artificial intelligence clusters.
